I agree here - sad they never mentioned him. Kurt's guitar work never was
anything special to me (besides using it Townsned style to trash amps) - It
was
the songwrting that stuck. I would have picked Curt Kirkwood of the Meat
Puppets as another guitar player that had a huge influence on 90's Rock.

Same here - I dont recall her doing any solos when I saw her play live in
Dallas a few years ago. She was proably picked due to her lasting influence on
all those Riot Grrls - not on soloing prowess.

BTW Where was Duane Eddy, Rick Nielsen, Richard Lloyd, Lindsey Buckingham, and
Hank Marvin? 

Les Paul deserved to be on this list.
