I listened to it for the first time yesterday -- it pretty much stays the 
course, songwritingwise (there is a song called "Todd Is God", which someone 
had to write...).  It sounds just a tad more ornate instrumentally.  Your 
description is right on point -- one thing I really like about all 
Pearlfishers is that David Scott writes some interesting lyrics, which seems 
not to be the forte of many others who do the nouveau soft pop thing.
