Some random thoughts:

Well, I'd rather listen to Sgt Pepper than the first 7 Dylan albums. But
that's just me...
Pulled Gladhands' Wow and Flutter outa the stack today, and am reminded how
much some of the tracks sound like early 70's Chicago (that's a good thing,
in my book. of course this comment only applies to Chicago before the MOR
nightmare they became)
Picked up some things out of the bargain bins lately, some i've listened to,
others i haven't had a chance to check out yet. am interested in any
thoughts on these disks from my fellow listmates:
Ivy - Apartment Life (really like the sound and feel of this, although maybe
the songwriting could be a bit stronger?)
Baby Lemonade - Exploring Music
Tubetop - 3 Minute Hercules (am digging the first 3 tracks, so far)
Yazbek - Damascus
Marvelous 3 - both of their LPs
Del Amitri - first CD, forgot the name
Wannadies - first CD, ditto
