Immediately leaping to mind is the truly kid-friendly "Jungle" by Electric
Light Orchestra, from OUT OF THE BLUE. It is one of their most bubblegummy
tracks. Earle Mankey did a tune called "Mau Mau", there's "Safari" by The
Breeders (maybe not kid fare, but a very cool song), CCR's "Run Through The
Jungle", Ray Stevens' "Gitarzan", The Specials' "Monkey Man" (I think
originally Toots and the Maytals), The Dickies' "You Drive Me Ape (You Big
Gorilla)", and many others I'm sure. But you can't miss with the ELO tune.
