Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone within traveling distance to the
Rams Head Tavern in Annapolis MD. I am reading here in the Baltimore City Paper
that this Sunday 8/31 the lineup is as follows:
Massacoustics
(have not heard them personally, but when Michael Carpenter played in
Rehoboth Beach earlier this summer he opened for them and could not stop raving about
them, so you know they must be good)
Starbelly
(well these folks are kinda like extended family to me- like the cousins we
never see, and when we do we always say "man we gotta get together more often,
not just at weddings and funerals" - I heart these guys!)
4-Way Street
(OK I know I should know more about these guys than I do, they are from
Philly and all I know is my fave Jim Boggia is in this group with 3 others guys who
are also powerhouses of the Philly scene. If they are all as good as Jim this
will be a scary good set!)
And speaking of Starbelly- we were listening to the new Cheap Trick CD the
other day and there was some song on it that was so totally Starbelly that it
was not even funny!
