Not true..
You can play the 5.1 mix if you have a DTS decoder either on your player or
receiver. It's 48k compressed down from 24/96. You have to flip the DVD over
to play it in your DVD video player, but the content is the same as on the
DVD-A side, just the 5.1 mix is not 24/96, but the stereo/mono mixes are.

BTW..the 5.1 mix is a let down and Linett didn't make use of the center
speaker at all. It blows compared to the 5.1 Beatles Anthology mixes. The
stereo mix, on the other hand, is fantastic and the one I listen to. The 5.1
mix is basically the stereo mix swamped in reverb! a joke!
