>I'm curious what else folks would like to see on CD. My own list
includes:

>The first Illinois Speed Press LP on Columbia records.
>A Philly band called the Reds who released a series of albums on Stony
>Plain records in the early 80s.
>Aum - two late 60s/early 70s LPs of Blue Cheer style blues rock.

>Bob Pisciotta
>Prairie Village, KS

Aaanndd .... another Philly band from the early 80's called *The A's*. 2
full length albums (Arista) and one independently released (Straight A's
Records) EP. I've ripped my vinyl, and I've made as much of a study of
the process as anyone on this list, but there's only so much you can do,
as you all well know, when your source is less than pristine. The "very"
early 80's were pivotal years in my life (as I'm sure they were for many
of you who are approx. "my age"). I was just finishing undergrad work at
the University of Delaware, facing the future "for real" (and all that
entails) for the first time, and The A's provided both the vinyl and
the live show soundtracks during that period. God bless Richard Bush and
the boys. That was so much fun I barely survived it! <grin>

BTW, will trade or pay for any live A's video out there!

Back to "The Lurk" (I always picture Snoopy sitting on his doghouse
doing that vulture thing).

Jeff T.
Delaware
