hi pop friends!
i was also surprised when i didn't see bob mould's name listed in that lineup of great guitarists. shoot, the guy's buzz saw sound propelled some of the coolest pop songs of the 80s with husker du! and then it got aped like crazy (though not as cool)when alterna rock took over in the 90s.
as far as buried treasures go, dang, his solo debut "workbook" is definitely one and i'm surprised i forgot to list that in my earlier post. listen to the opening track "sunspots" to hear his wonderful picking and then stay tuned for the wonderful pop track "see a little light."
by the way, i hear the former husker dude is working on another solo record that is supposedly in the same mood of "workbook."
