incident....and yet they insisted the band change its name in 1985 for fear
that radio programmers would resist their records over an incident that
occurred nearly 30 years before. The fact is, radio resisted The Payola$
because David Foster sucked the very essence out of the band's recordings
and turned them into Richard Marx songs.
