I am listening to it right now, and enjoying it very much.
Nothing like his first album "dressed up like Nebraska",
but all the elements that made that album more than just
an alt.country work are more in the forefront of 1972.
"James" is such a sad song, that mines a Philly soul vibe.
While "love vibration" is going to be hard to get out of my
head.
The thing I am enjoying about this album is that the influences
he cited for this album in a recent interview are not overpowering,
but they are hard to miss.
Nice to see a young artist grow with each album.
