hi pop friends!
these not-so-commercially-successful-yet-fantastic pop cds make my buried treasure list:
superstar
marshall crenshaw: life's too short
marshall crenshaw: mary jean & 9 others
peter case's first solo album (not exactly pop, but a great listen!)
walt mink: miss happiness
and i feel as time marches on xtc's "apple venus vol. 1" will continue to find its way onto more and more buried treasure lists like this. and that's a bummer because i've found that putting "your dictionary" and "i'd like that" on party cds for friends usually results in purchases and new fans.
cheers and pop on!
