Went to see the Monkees movie "Head" on the big screen
today...unfortunately Quentin Tarantino didn't come
through with his copy of a 16mm print of the film, so
it was just the DVD on giant screen. Still a lot of
fun.
Surprise guest Peter Tork answered a few questions and
talked about his experience, it was a great way to
spend a Saturday morning. Apparently there is at
least an hour more of edited footage that could have
been in the movie...would love to see that, especially
since the current DVD release has no extras and is
only in full-screen.
At the "Don't Stop the Rock" film festival, they were
handing out sampler cds and one of the tracks is "Now
It's On" by Grandaddy. Hell YEAH does that track
sound like Cherry Twister!!! Gabe Fuentes proves once
again that higher education pays off!
