Hello all,I am curious about whether anyone else ran into the same situation
I did.
I was going to buy some cds from an Audities member a few weeks back when
they posted a list of cds with set prices. I emailed that I would like
several of the cds offered. The seller responded saying 3 of the cds I
wanted were available but when the seller asked for payment the price had
been arbitrarily (and unapologetically ) inflated to almost double the
original prices offered.
When I brought this to the seller's attention ,the seller said I was correct
...but that the price was actually even more than the 2nd price quoted
because (1) the full cd is an import and therefore worth much more than the
original quoted price and (2)the 2 cdeps are worth more than the original
quoted prices because they are numbered and limited.
When I responded to the new prices the seller argued that no one else
complained about this phenomena.
The seller claimed they would be losing money if they sold the cds at what
they originally quoted them.
I pointed out that if the cds are promos then the seller is not really
losing money. They seller angrily replied that it is none of my business how
the cds were obtained.
I am posting this to the list to find out if any one else experienced the
same arbitrary price increase and if they did..were they vocal about it (as
I was).

Thanks for reading.
