Recorders of my third LP purchase ever.

Rob Grill's almost 60 and can still belt 'em out. The band was tight,
and even with synthetic horns, they only butchered one arrangement. (You
cannot replace the acoustic guitar on "Let's Live For Today" with synth
without spoiling the mood.)

Anyhow, the reason for this post is that the band was selling their
four-year-old live CD at the show, and, in the liner notes, Rob writes
that both "Love Grows Where My Rosemary Goes" and "Don't Pull Your Love"
were written "exclusively" for The Grass Roots but rejected.

Now, "Don't Pull Your Love" was written by Steve Barri, so it's certainly
possible. But I would think this tidbit about Rosemary would be more
widely known if it were true.

Anybody have any insight into this?
