When this thread first started, my first reaction was the Raspberries "Go All The Way". Then I pulled out one of my Powerpearls comps (trying to organize records at home before the new carpet gets installed..what a mess!) and thought:
no...it should be "Another Girl, Another Planet" by the Only Ones. Then I thought..hmm "Places That Are Gone" by Tommy Keene..oooohhhh..wait...what about the Pointed Sticks "Out of Luck...Teenage Head and "Frantic Romantic"...aw..the hell with it, first reactions count for more. Carmen's voice was never in better form.
But fave album is pretty easy: The Undertones s/t. "Teenage Kicks", "Here Comes the Summer", "Get Over You"...all classic songs with Feargal Sharkey's quivering vocals, some great harmonies and plenty of masterful guitar work. It never fails to put me in a good mood.
