Favorite Power Pop single - I was going to pick the Who's classic "So Sad
About
Us" but since it was never released on a 45 (if it did, I want a copy), my
choice is Marshall Crenshaw's "Whenever You're On My Mind". I still remember
hearing it on the radio in 1983 and immediately being knocked out by it. I
still play it when I want a "fix"...
Honorable Mention
Dwight Twilley Band - Im On Fire (Shelter 1975)
Raspberries - I Wanna Be With You (Capitol 1972)
Hollies - I'm Alive (Imperial 1966)
20/20 - Cheri (Portrait 1980)
Badfinger - No Matter What (Apple 1971)
Nick Lowe - Cruel To Be Kind (Columbia 1979)
New Colony 6 - Love You So Much (Sentar 1966)
Who - Substitute (Atco 1966)
and about 100+ more...
