FYI, David and others.....

As many of you know, we reissued this album on CD back in 1997(and David
Bash and John Borack both wrote liner notes for this).....and it went out of
print in 1999. Actually, the CD reissue was/is rarer than the LP every was
because there were far fewer available cd's of this release than were the
LP's.

But Not Lame will do a special limited reissue of the reissue as a 2 CD set
of THE TOMS in early 2004 and we'll compile some of the strongest songs from
the other two releases from The Toms(after the debut----there were two other
releases after this one) and a few more unreleased songs.

BEFORE then, we'll release a Christmas CD from Tom Marolda(The Toms) in
November! Just getting it together next week and the following week, but
it's a most unusual and cool Christmas CD.

Here's what it is:

It's under the name St. Nick's Only Christmas Band and it's called "Classic
Christmas Songs With A Dash Of Pepper" . It takes Christmas songs like
"Frosty The Snowman", "Hark, The Herald Angels Sing", "Jingle Bell Rock",
etc....and then combines the melodies of these Christmas songs with
re-written melodies inspired, song-by-song(in order) of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely
Hearts Club Band.

Silly, but a lot of fun.

Will have more info on the NL web site by the end of the month w/
soundbites, etc.....

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
B ruce @ Not Lame
