These have come across my ears in a big way:

CIRCULAR HAZE by Maple Mars. Captures the kineticism of Todd's Nazz forays.

A LITTLE TRIP by the Vinyl Kings. Pop performed the way Pete Ham/Eric Carmen
envisioned it. Includes a member of the Ozark Mountain Daredevils (same guy
who co-wrote 'Jackie Blue'). Nashville session pros having fun in the studio
at The Beatles' expense...killer.

BTW, Fountains of Wayne are listed for this Friday on Letterman.
