A week ago, I posted a question asking whatever happened to Philly soul writer/producer
Thom Bell, the man behind the glory years of the Delphonics, The Stylistics, The
Spinners, etc. He also produced an tracks for an aborted album with Elton John in
1977, part of which was released in 1979 as an EP (with the hit "Mama Can't Buy
You Love") and part of which was added to the mid '80s reissue to bring the track
count to six. 

Anyway, one of the tracks from that expanded EP, "Are You Ready for Love", is
exploding in the UK and may actually hit #1 over there...It's a Bell co-write and
production...

Hmmm...Maybe it'll encourage someone to interview the guy and let us know why he
disappeared after the '70s...
