Saw a sneak preview of this movie (about the life of Harvey Pekar, writer of
the comic book of the same name, featuring a brilliant performance by Paul
Giamatti). Eytan Mirsky appears in the movie -- you'll know it's him when
you hear a melodic guitar pop song being performed. They should have let
him do the whole song, rather than a snippet. Is there a soundtrack (lots
of cool jazz, a nice score and a great version of "Ain't that Peculiar" by
Chocolate Genius a/k/a the artist formerly known as Marc Anthony Thompson)?
Anyway, it's a great movie, and Eytan is a sure fire nominee for the new
Best Supporting Performance by an Auditeer at next year's Oscars.
