i seriously think we should never put the words "powerpop" 
and "definition" in the same sentence...i presume Townshend's 
idea of the style has little to do with what it is circa 2003.

Loud guitars (check), strong melodies (check), frenetic 
drumming (check), three-part harmonies (check) - did i miss 
out anything?
