My current favourite Power Pop song is :
Cheap Trick - So Good To See You.
Favourite Power Pop album -
its a tie between Jellyfish 'Bellybutton' and Sloan 'Between The
Bridges'

Yaver already mentioned), which contains the best hooks you can find
on any single album, one after the other. For albums with a more
recent vintage, I usually turn to Splitsville's "Complete Pet Soul,"
The Merrymakers' "Bubblegun," and The Vandalias' "Buzzbomb!"

Summer Sun," but I'll happily join the crowd and choose "Go All The
Way." That song is nearly perfect and always brings back great &
precious memories of growing up in the early '70s. On those rare
instances when I find it on the radio, I turn the treble all the way
up, the bass way down, and only use my front speakers to recreate
that Dodge Dart AM sound as closely as possible! (and I bet I'm not
the only one that does that...)

Psychedelic Furs a year or so ago and they were *very* impressive.
They sounded very fresh and I really wish I could make that show on
Thursday. Enjoy!
