I should note that there are undoubtedly 13-year-old girls who would find
songs like that hysterical, but most of the ones I remember from that time
in my life would have simply rolled their eyes and said "Ohmigod, these
guys are, like, so dorky I cannot stand it, y'all."
Yes, I was in junior high during the Valley Girl era. You can tell?
