The August 2003 Fufkin.com page is up. This month we have the following
record reviews:

Mike Bennett presents full length reviews of the newest releases from Robyn
Hitchcock, Dwight Yoakam, Cheap Trick, Cosmic Rough Riders and The Dandy
Warhols. Mike also has capsule reviews of Shutdown 66, Lynchpin,
Flashcubes, Friends Like These, The Natural History, The Oranges, The Deal,
Volta Do Mar, The George Usher Group and The Model Rockets.

Gary Glauber reviews Big Kid, The George Usher Group, Beth Thornley and the
Heavenly States.

Michael Lynch reviews the Gotham Garage compilation, while Kurt Sampsel
reviews reissues from ‘60s bands Fire and The Marmlade.

Bill Klutho reviews the new Chicago box set and latest Stevie Winwood disc
and Robert Pally reviews a Styx tribute album.

Gary Pig Gold explains why Elvis is still the epicenter, the sun, the
ultimate...you get the picture.

Kurt Hernon’s been listening to the new Jane’s Addiction and explains how it
makes him feel 20 years younger. Pay attention to his footnote on Led
Zeppelin.

Mike Bennett uses the first ever CD issue of cartoonist Walt Kelly’s Songs
Of The Pogo album as a transparent excuse to write about one of his all-time
favorite comic strips.

Eric Sorenson flies his jangly music fan flag high, and comments on the new
George Usher Group, Toothpaste 2000 and The Hurricane Lamps. He also talks
about some older stuff – Flight Of Mavis and The Grapes Of Wrath. He also
covers the latest from Cosmic Rough Riders, True Love, The Gurus, Barry
Tashian (of The Remains!), The High Dials, Trolleyvox and a few more.

Kevin Mathews reports from his secluded Singapore listening location on
Pernell Disney, Doug (ex-Bucket No. 6) Hoekstra, Kitchen & Bathrooms, The
Cardigans, Martin Gordon, Joan Armatrading, Jericho, Jen Elliot and much
more.

We thank everyone for the feedback on the new design. If you haven’t seen
it, come check it out.
