Hey Mike!
I agree! This is realy a very very good CD! The cover of "Downtown" is outstanding...but I gotta give kudos to Chris's cover of Sleepy Hollow's "Take Me Back". The song is fantastic. Sleepy Hollow is a long lost one off album band fom the very early 70's. I had talked with Rich Billay, the main man in SLeepy Hollow a few years ago. Then wham...here is a cover of oneof their songs on Chris's new CD. So, naturally I asked Chris where he pulled that one out of?? He said that someone had put that track on a mix tape about 10 years ago, and it just stuck with him! remarkable! Besides Dave Bradley on this list, I didn't think anyone else had ever heard of Sleepy Hollow!
Another band that deserves a re-release on CD!!

This sounds like the best thing he has ever done. The songs are so sharp
and he dabbles in some styles (keep doing that R & B, Chris!). There is
also a great cover of Petula Clark's "Downtown".
