Since in a way I'm responsible for the special edition going on sale, I'll
repost what I said about it here last week, since Chris missed it. CM's
bass player, Josh, has been posting in the CM newsgroup for a few weeks on
various topics. I had seen the special edition listed as "coming soon" on
their website forever, so I asked him what it was all about. He explained
that they were made for a French tour and that he thought he had a few left.
He dug them out and was nice enough to let us know that they would be on
sale in a few days. I made their merchandise page my internet home page
and checked in about every hour during the day until it went on sale about
two days later. I think I was the 2nd or 3rd person to get one. Enough
people complained that they didn't have a chance to purchase one, so Josh is
looking into making a new batch to sell. I don't know about Chris, but mine
has a problem on a few tracks where it skips, including the alternate
version of "Lily Dreams On". I may have to buy another one when they're
available!
