~~~~if the weather is nice, here is an alternate
version:

walk down randolph street east (toward the lake...
toward clark, dearborn, state...) at state street,
turn left and you will see the lake street station of
the red line. get on there, and it's a straight shot
to the belmont stop, without going all the way around
the loop.

you'll be underground some, so maybe mike's way is
nicer and all architectural, but i'm all about fast,
fast, fast!!

and if you're going to be in town on monday and
tuesday, email me...i'll be off. i want ann sather, i
want ann sather!
