er, um, is it necessary for you to point it out? No, I
don't think so... Is it inappropriate to not contact
me privately? er, um, yeah...
Not that you jump to conclusions. So, if I may offer a
public retort.
First of all, let me point it out - I HATE CD-Rs. I
enjoy liner notes and cover art far too much. Unlike
several people on this list who probably have hundreds
of CD-Rs I only have about 15 of them. All of which I
am getting rid of now. Some people on this list praise
the works of certain artists which only they are
priviliged enough to hear. As a big fan, I think,
well, I would love to hear this now. So, about 2-3
times a year, I may obtain a CD-r of these advance
copies. But I can assure you, almighty Michael, that I
do purchase these CDs when they are available at the
stores.
The other CDs that I have listed are simply
unavailable for purchase - either deleted, or demos,
etc. Believe me, if these things were available for
purchase, I would snap them up in a second. I think
most people on the list would do likewise. I don't
have many CD-rs, so if I want to get other CDrs and
all I have available is CDs for trade, what is
inappropriate about that?
If we're going to split hairs then, is SOTT
appropriate? I would like to think that the people
that do the SOTT trading would think so, is it okay
with you Mike?
