I also love to get a sense of what other songs/bands FOW's songs remind
me of.

I'm not sure that I can articulate why, but I hear mid-period Steely Dan
in "Halley's Waitress." It's not so much the music, but I think it's the
way the chorus is so easily sung and remembered apart from the context
of the overall song -- much as Steely Dan's best known songs do.
