I think this is a very important point
after How Many Chords and bands and melodies is your ear pallet clear and
objective?
i know after 2 or 3 bands a night, there are times when diminishing
returns kicks in I'd be better off seeing a band by itself or on another night
to get a real picture of what they sound like
And might actually enjoy them more as opposed to the 5th 6th or 7th band of a
night
my hearing would be a little more objective

I would like to add a few things
Rodney has supported The IPO CD's and shows for the last 3 years
he has dedicated 2 to 3 weeks of Sundays/Monday
Spinning the IPO Discs
and featuring bands about to play the following week
as a Matter of fact 2 years ago Y 107-a feisty KROQ challenger that is now
off the air -also Featured a Sunday Show featuring IPO CD Tracks
that was a great time listening to tracks and bands from the fest on 2
different LA Major market Fm Stations
