I love Philip Glass, but I don't hear him on this album.  (I was amused,
however, by the review that said "My Baby's Taking Me Home" sounded like a
cross between Irving Berlin and Steve Reich.)  What the album reminds me of
is Prefab Sprout's JORDAN: THE COMEBACK.  Same sort of semi-orchestral
sound, similar structure, equally likely to be hated by anyone who insists
that music has to rawk out, maaaaaaaaaaaaan.
