Well now it's my turn..
I saw a lot of great bands at IPO this year.. It ended up being the way I
figured it would ... Not a lot of bands I'd seen before or even had a desire to
see but I still discovered a lot of stuff that I'm glad I was there to see. I
went to 12 IPO shows in all. Here are the standout performances..

I enjoyed almost everyone , and could probably count the bands I strongly
disliked on one hand. In fact, can we have a vote for worst act and whoever gets
the most votes doesn't get to come back next year :)
Maybe not.. Either way, it was a great event as always, and I have to thank
David Bash for all the work he puts into organizing such a massive festival.
As we all said last year, I think it could be a little shorter and maybe have a
few less bands per night, but in all it was just as enjoyable for me as it
has been in the past. This year I also worked merchandise for 5 shows (up from
2 or 3 last year)
And I made some great new friends.. Lisa Mychols and Tom from Waking Hours,
Kim Fox, Stootsie from The See Saw, David Ponak, Jeremy and others that I
didn't get a chance to talk to last year ..
Now I just wish I could find a way to get to Liverpool! .. hehe
