Wanted to comment on some of the bands I enjoyed the last few days of IPO.

Sunday afternoon suprised us all with Randell Kirsch's being a Pranks
reunion! They played mixture of new and old tunes. And some of Jeffrey
Foskett's material as well. That was a nice unexpected treat!

Sunday evening I enjoyed seeing Velouria again. Hadn't seen them play in
many years. Didn't even realize they were still together. Power pop right
on the punk edge but still keeping all the nice harmonies. Jamie Vernon put
on really nice solo acoustic set. Monogrove was really fun, they invited
everyone to get up on stage with them when they played "Magical Mystery
Tour" Enjoyed Evie Sands set. They did "I Can't Let Go'' I alway enjoy
that song. Preoccupied Pipers were really cool and lots of fun. I think
they had 10 people on stage. Playing trombones, trumpets and pretty much
everything else but the kitchen sink :-) Always enjoy KC Bowman and his
players.

On Saturday afternoon I really enjoyed Second Saturday. They made want to
get up and dance. I liked the Holidays. Very XTC influenced. I don't they
were everyone's cup of tea though. My fave of the day was John Hoskinson.
What a beautiful voice!

Saturday evening, I was really impressed with Orion. Hadn't realized they
had been Kitty in the Tree until they played "Starfucker" Billionaire Boys
Club rocked up the joint. And of course the Churchills. I just love these
guys. What a tight band! Wish I could see them more often than once a
year!

Thursday night was quite a night. Walter Clevenger put on a great set (but
then he always does). Phil Angotti was wonderful. This was definitely
one of my favorite sets of IPO! Does this guy have a beautiful voice.
Spinning Jennies put on a really rocking set. Everyone was up dancing for
this set. Jeremy's set was very fun. He has tons of energy. Loved the
stage dive at the end of the set :-)

Hey Todd, it was great seeing you again! Todd is trooper. He flew out to
LA to play in Jeremy's set and had to return to America's Heartland the next
day.

I attended more than three quarters of the IPO shows and didn't take any
time off work so if I have forgotten to mention some of the bands forgive
me, cause today I can't remember my own name :-)
