Quick recommendation for a couple of CDs I got the other day.
1. Lolas - Silver and Gold: This is a Spanish release and combines selected
tracks off their first 2 albums, a couple of Shame Idols tracks + about 15
previously unreleased/rare songs. Excellent stuff! Can't wait for the
next album.
2. Ice Cream Hands - Broken UFO: Sophisticated Aussie pop, very polished
sounding, wonderfully played and sung. Would appeal to fans of Squeeze I
reckon.

PS Remember a while back I mentioned I had a gig coming up in Princes
Street Gardens in Edinburgh? Well, we've just discovered we are playing
the same day as Edinburgh Festival's big parade. Police are expecting
150,000 people to be in and around Princes Street that day. Its our first
gig. No pressure, eh?
