Tim, tell us which 3 bands.......
I have been to most of the IPO shows this year. Due to work constraints
and having moved further away from Hollywood, I am not going as much in
full force as in past years. I enjoy discovering new bands I haven't heard
of and vastly increasing my cd collection. My new discovery this year is
Cherry Blossom Clinic and The Glimmer Stars. Ya there have been some band
that didn't rock my world. But with this many bands playing there is bound
to be. But it all becomes worth it when you see artists like Chris Von
Sneidern and PHux whose sets just give you chills. I do miss some of the
artists who have played past IPO's and the audities parties and the people I
have met through the years who no longer come out to LA for IPO but alas
nothing stays the same.
and David.....Please bring back the Rubinoos! that would make me a totally
happy pop girl :-)
