Asexuals first album includes John Kastner - John Kastner left and formed
the Doughboys with Johnathon Cummings - they broke up (after many albums)
and Kastner formed All Systems Go with Mark Arnold of Big Drill Car and
Cumming formed Bionic with Ian Blurton from Change Of Heart (also currently
in Blurtonia). On the Asexuals side - since the split Sean Friesen formed
La Motta. Another link - on the Doughboys album 'Fix' - the two songs that
got airplay in Canada were both co-written by the band and Wiz (MC4,
Serpico, etc.).

"Greater than Later" on Boss Tunage is probably the only Asexuals in print -
it is a 24 song career comp. so it should be a great place to start. 'Dish'
was my favorited of theirs. I like the new La Motta as well.

'Happy Accidents' is my favorite Doughboys - but some prefer the harder edge
of the first two.

One of my favorite albums in the Genre would be Hard-Ons 'Love Is A
Battlefield Of Wounded Hearts' on Taanng! in the U - or they have a
compilation out not which would be good to start with.

Meanies, Exploding White Mice, Vacant Lot have that sound too.

Lee Elliott
