One more --

Pink Floyd needed a cheering audience for one of the tracks on THE WALL.
Someone got the bright idea of going to a Rockpile show and, between sets,
asking the audience to cheer for the new Floyd record. Instead, the
audience booed incessantly.

Cleverly, Floyd drummer Nick Mason used that tape on his FICTITIOUS SPORTS
solo project -- the track is called "Boo to You Too" (BTW -- the FICTITIOUS
SPORTS album found Mason collaborating with Carla Bley, Chris Spedding,
Robert Wyatt and others to make a pretty fun record -- some Floydy stuff,
some jazz, some stuff akin to Wyatt's solo material -- a little gem of an
album)
