too bad for chicago fans used to seeing the pb's at schubas! where the sound is usually great.
having been through more than a few dozen sound-checks with joe, he is often a very tricky guy to mix for, as he is such a quiet singer, and has a great amount of difficulty hearing his voice, no matter what the soundman does. its less surprising then, that the tyde were able to rise above, as sometimes joe's more fragile material just can't be performed under such circumstances.
