Gawd bless you Richard Clegg!
Name of the band is Pan-Am Jungle Bats. We are indie-pop 3-piece (thinking
of covering Banana Splits them and Wig Wam Bam to get the crowd on our side
before scaring them off with our own stuff). We'll only be playing 40
mins, absolute maximum
Gig is actually an open air mini-fest, starts around 1pm and lasts until
11pm. Mid afternoon, the Gods of Glam are playing and last up are a
Ramones tribute band called the Surfin' Pinheads. Heck I may as well post
the full line-up for the benefit of any other Scotsmen on Audities:
"Repeating the success of 'Rock the Gardens' in 2002 we are holding
another TWO charity rock events during the Festival, on Sundays 3rd and
10th August at the Bandstand in Princes Street Gardens.
19 bands all with someone who is a member of Standard Life staff will be
playing their hearts out to raise funds for the Standard Life Charity
Fund - Give It Life!
