45's still have a facination with me that LP's tapes and CD's never had.
Sleeves and inserts give away too much information while a obscure label 45 in
a paper sleeve (or not) still has a sense of archeological-like mystery about
it.
I still love discovering a great 45 at a used record shop or thrift store. The
internet and groups like Spectropop have been great for finding info - I
almost
gave away a 45 that might fetch 20-to-50 bucks with UK Northern Soul
collectors.
