Saw Marshall play a free show in Haddon Heights Park, New Jersey last night. He played about 5 or 6 tracks from the new CD. From what I heard, it should be classic Crenshaw! Real good songs!
He did a great version of Eddie Cochran's "Nervous Breakdown" last night. Opened the show with a superb rendition of Buddy Holly's "Reminiscing" as well!
Nothing like an hour and 20 minutes of outdoor Crenshaw on a beautiful summer night!

Not yet, but a piece about MC in today's Boston Globe mentions that one
song on the new album is a country-tinged cover of Prince's "Take Me With
U," a song that I have been saying for nearly 20 years is ripe for a
power-pop version, since the original is already three-quarters of the way
there.
