An obvious one: Do You Know The Way To San Jose? ("L.A. Is a great big
freeway...")
Bob Seger's "Hollywood Nights" ("He spent all night staring down at the lights
of LA, Wondering if he could ever go home")
When I first heard Marshall Crenshaw's classic "Our Town" I thought it was
about L.A. ("It's gonna shake apart and crumble to the ground") though its
about NYC.

PS: Marshall's got a new CD coming out July 22 - anyone heard it yet?
