Yes it's indeed a great story, but sadly not true..in fact Peter and Mike
did put the music together out of a jam of Mose Allison's "Parchment Farms"
but Diane Hilderbrand wrote those great lyrics.
The first time Micky started to sing them he was singing them slow. Diane
had to correct him and tell him they were sung twice as fast. I can't
imagine anyone else other then Micky Dolenz singing that song.
