Lest anyone think I'm despondent (I'm not), I submit my Top 5 list to show
that I still love music and it gives me joy, even as I face my own
foolishness. (I'm working toward being able not to care if there's anyone in
the room - because as so many say, that is strong and noble, and right. But
at this point, I am still weak and affected by my surroundings. I still
care. I know it is self-indulgent to admit that). So here is a completely
non-self indulgent, completely altruistic listing of my Top Five records of
the year so far:
Grandaddy: Sumday
Fountains of Wayne: Welcome Interstate Managers
The Postal Service: Give Up
Longwave: The Strangest Things
The Eels: Shootenanny!
