many many thanks!!! memory is a funny thing when you see the actual reality :)
I am almost done on the Waves reissue of their first canada-only lps.
25 tracks (incl unreleased stuff) + bonus DVD of a 1983 concert film
(amazing!!).
24 pages of notes & pix.
Hardest part has been the audio re-mastering/restoring of the audio
as Attic Records,
which originally issued these two lps, threw out their masters
(!!!!!!) and we had to work
from safeties, vinyl, etc. but boy, it sounds sweeeeet!!!
great interviews with katrina & kimberley as well - really going over
the early history of the band and
a lot of insight into these particular recordings plus a whole
separate interview with
producer Pat Collier on the recording process/gear, etc...
No release date yet....sometime in sept. It will be worth it, but a
lot of things to co-ordinate
and we all want it to be right and not rushed...

Bible of Bop is next and the remastering is currently underway - LOTS
