Yeah, I think the secret to ripping these things is to rip them as wav
files.  Which, once done, can be converted to MP3 if necessary via
MusicMatch.  Essentially you aren't "ripping" them, if ripping means
creating a compressed copy.  Rather you are "extracting" the tracks to your
hard drive, which may be different from ripping.  I'll see if that works
with tithe Bangles record.
