Yes, the DC show was packed and as it was my first FOW
show, I was quite pleased. As for Ben Lee, his songs
mostly work well with a full band, but I also feel
he's doing right by having McGowan on tour with him.
then again, I'm biased in that regard. ;)
got to see Cliff Hillis and IKE at Ira Rosen's
yesterday for a lovely afternoon of music and
bloodletting (aka blood donations). apparently, I won
the award for being the biggest challenge with my
'floating veins' and I have the bruises to prove it on
BOTH my arms.
forgot to post a while back, but I recently saw this
great Indie band from Athens, GA passing through
Arlington with a stop at The Galaxy Hut: Bugs Eat
Books! lovely 4 piece, yummy vocals for a wonderful
night of somewhat lo-fi indie pop. check them out!

I'm glad I stuck it out on a Monday night to hear them
do The Clean's 'tally ho' on the website, I
recommend listening to 'Ian is Going to New Zealand'
these kids are just discovering the whole world of New
Zealand pop and that makes me happy!!!
