sorry Mike, not even close. 930 only had 500 pre-show tix sold
(according to the bartender my pal is good friends with), so they moved
the stage up closer to the audience, taking away some of the floor. The
rear downstairs was not crowded. Upstairs appeared to be at about 1/2
capacity. I think there were about 750-800 tops. Not bad at all, but
no where near packed. Last tour, when WHFS was playing "Red Dragon
Tattoo" and "Denise" and when Owsley opened, it was a fully sold out
show.
A sold out 930 means you can't really walk inside, getting up/down the
stairs is a chore, getting a drink takes 5-10min at the bar, there's NO
PLACE to park, etc etc....none of this happened. I got there around 9pm
and could easily park on the street.
