My original "ragging" comment re: MusicMatch had to do with Ipods. I really
meant to reply originally to Bruce Brodeen only and ended up sending it to
the list as well. The ragging I referred to is on many of the Ipod forums.
If you are a windows user, the supported software to transfer mp3's to the
Ipod is MusicMatch (there are other software packages available that will do
this as well). Apparently many people despise it. On the Mac side, it's
iTunes and most users rave about it. I have no problem with MusicMatch. I
use it to rip, burn cd's and transfer files to my Ipod. I have used it for a
long time so I guess I am used to it's quirks. For ripping and CD burning
it's excellent. Anyhow, this was a long-winded way of narrowing the context
of my original comment.
