~~~~ad aware is an awesome program for getting rid of
all sorts of data miners/spyware/cookies that you
might not even REALIZE are on your computer. to my
knowledge, it's a free program?? adaware.com?
you run it every week or so (or as often as you feel
necessary), and it tells you what data miners are
there, and then you delete them. lovely.
